Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By using Catius AI Learning (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for a school, district, or company, you confirm you are authorized to accept on its behalf.
2. The Service
The Service provides structured lessons, practice questions, optional readings and media, progress tracking, and classroom-style reporting. Some content is assembled from public or licensed sources and optional third-party APIs when configured (for example trivia or media search). We may change or discontinue features; we may suspend access for security, abuse, or maintenance.
3. Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for safeguarding credentials and for activity under your account. Do not misuse the Service—including probing, excessive automated access, harassment, unlawful content, or attempts to bypass rate limits or security. Organizations using the Service with minors remain responsible for compliance with applicable student-privacy laws and internal policies.
4. Intellectual property
The Service, branding, and software are owned by Catius AI or its licensors. Wikipedia and other third-party materials remain subject to their respective licenses; embedded media may be subject to platform terms.
5. Subscriptions and billing
If you purchase a paid plan, payment processing is handled by our payment provider (e.g. Stripe). Fees, taxes, renewals, and cancellation rights are presented at checkout and in the provider's receipt or customer portal where applicable.
6. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." Automated and third-party content may contain errors. The Service is not a substitute for professional education, medical, legal, or safety advice.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Catius AI's total liability for claims arising from the Service is limited to the greater of (a) amounts you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim or (b) fifty US dollars (USD). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases our liability is limited to the maximum allowed by law.
